St. Louis, July 7, 2025 - In response to a voluntary product recall by Lewis Bakeries, Dierbergs Markets has removed the following product from its shelves due to an undeclared allergen ingredient:

Lewis Artisan Style Half Loaf Bread, 12 oz.
UPC: 24126-01815
Best By Date: 7/13/25 only

The recall relates to hazelnuts, which are not declared in the ingredient list. While the packaging does carry an Allergy Advisory stating that this product is made in the same facility as products that contain Milk and Tree Nuts and the hazelnuts are visible in the finished product, this recall has been issued out of an abundance of caution.

Those with an extreme allergy or severe sensitivity should not consume this product. Instead, it should be returned to Dierbergs for a full refund.
