Product Recall: Fresh Ground Beef from Dierbergs Crestwood Crossing Store

St. Louis, October 7, 2025 - Dierbergs Markets is recalling all packages of ground beef that were freshly ground in store October 6, 2025,  and sold October 6 and 7, 2025, at its Crestwood Crossing location (Watson & Sappington Roads).

The recall is in response to the discovery of a foreign object in one of the packages of meat processed on that date through the store's meat grinder.

The recall applies to the following ground beef varieties processed and hand-wrapped in the store with a Use By Date of 10/8/2025.
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 80/20 Ground Chuck (UPC number: 02-41622-00000)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 85% Ground Round (UPC number: 02-41628-00000)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 90% Ground Sirloin (UPC number: 02-41620-00000)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 93% Lean Ground Beef (UPC number: 02-41634-00000)

All impacted product that had not been sold has been pulled from the store’s shelves and removed from the service case and discarded. Vacuum-sealed packages of ground meat sold at the store are not affected.

Dierbergs asks customers who purchased the product listed above on October 6 and 7 from the Crestwood store to bring their unused product or receipt to the store for a full refund.
